Cable Audit Associates Acquires Media Audits International’s Audit Operations

Combined Company Strengthens CAA’s Domestic Offerings and Expands Its International Reach

Denver, January 23, 2006 – Cable Audit Associates (CAA) has purchased Media Audits International’s (MAI) audit businesses, the two companies announced today. As part of the agreement, Irvin Hirschhorn, Owner and President of MAI, will join CAA’s management team as Vice President, International Operations, where he will oversee the extension of CAA’s services to the global market. The addition of MAI’s auditing business, which will operate under the CAA brand, will enhance the efficiency and quality of CAA’s auditing service and allow MAI’s current customers to draw from CAA’s broader suite of consulting and affiliate account management services.

CAA and MAI provide auditing services for cable television programming networks that license the distribution of their programming through cable television systems, DBS operators, and other video distributors. CAA also offers a complete package of consulting and affiliate accounting services. In addition, CAA owns and operates MediaAnalysisPlus (dba Hawk Audits), which provide media auditing advertising services for advertisers.

MAI’s audit business operations will move to CAA’s offices in Greenwood Village. The former MAI business entity, now known as Media Database Holdings, Inc, will retain its ownership interest in Marketing Publishers, LLC and Media Database Solutions International, LLC. These businesses remain separate and independent from CAA.

The addition of MAI’s seasoned auditing services team will complement CAA’s existing resources for serving the growing demand for auditing licensed content that is being distributed across new media platforms, including video on demand, PC-based media players and portable media devices.

“MAI has been establishing a solid reputation and base in the Latin American market and, under Irv’s leadership, we are looking forward to expanding CAA’s scope to the global arena,” stated Bruce Lazarus CEO of Cable Audit Associates. “Because of the duplication of resources associated with field audits, the consolidation benefits our customers by further reducing the number of field audit days. This consolidation also benefits cable operators and other content distributors, by further reducing the number of outside audit firms visiting their corporate and regional offices.”

“Bruce has done a terrific job in expanding CAA’s auditing and consulting business, in both the services it provides and customers it serves, “Irvin Hirschhorn said. “By becoming a part of CAA, we can offer MAI’s current clients more services at an even better value and, through building upon MAI’s experiences in the Canadian, European and Latin American markets, support CAA’s reach into the global and new media markets.”

Any inquires concerning MAI should be directed to CAA’s offices (Phone: 303.694.0444).
